Crosshaven Carrigaline Credit Union is delighted to launch its Student Bursary Award Scheme for 2026.
To apply, simply complete an online application below (2026 closing date - September 30th)
This initiative is designed to help ease the financial pressure of college life, making bursaries available to students living in or attending secondary school in our common bond area (i.e. Crosshaven, Carrigaline & Tracton).
We believe in investing in the next generation. Supporting education is a key part of that mission. These bursaries are about more than funding — they’re about helping young people achieve their potential and build a brighter future.
Bursaries are open to all students who:
- are living in or attending secondary school in our common bond area (i.e. Crosshaven, Carrigaline or Tracton)
- have been accepted onto a third level course or are scheduled to start an apprenticeship program. Proof of acceptance onto a third level course or apprenticeship will need to be provided as part of an application.
Two bursary awards will be given out each year. These awards are not based on academic performance. Winners will be randomly selected from all the applications received.
- The first student selected will receive a one-off payement of €1,000.
- The second student will receive a one-off payment of €500.
